HP-UX CSA Certification

HP-UX CSA - Certified Systems Administrator

The CSA is HP's entry-level HP-UX system administration certification, and is suited to those who wish to demonstrate a proficiency in the installation, configuration, administration and support of a networked environment.

While there are no prerequisites required to register for the CSA exam, candidates should have some hands-on experience with the HP-UX OS.

To earn the HP-UX CSA certification, candidates must pass just one exam, HP0-A01 (this replaces the previous HP0-091 exam).

The HP0-A01 exam consists of 60 questions (the question format is a typical mix of multiple-choice, drag and drop and graphical items) with 90 minutes available to complete them. The candidate must obtain a score of 70% or higher to be awarded the HP-UX CSA certification.

The exam can be taken through your nearest Prometric testing centre, but to schedule an exam you first need to apply for an HP student ID (click here for more info).

Exam objectives for the HP0-A01 as well as general exam information and information regarding question formats can be found here: HP0-A01 exam prep guide (pdf)
