HP-UX CSE - Certified Systems Engineer
To earn the HP-UX CSE certification, candidates are first required to have gained the HP-UX CSA certification (by passing the HP0-A01 exam, see above), and then pass a further two exams (one core and one elective).
Core exam (required):
HP0-A02 - HP-UX Advanced System Administration 76 questions, 115 mins, 70% passing score.
And one exam from the following, depending on the specialty you prefer:
HP0-914 HP-UX Adv. Administration - High Availability 76 questions, 120 mins, 74% passing score. HP0-090 HP-UX Adv. Administration -
Virtual Server Environment (VSE)73 questions, 105 minutes, 68% passing score. HP0-P17 HP-UX 11i v3 CSE - Networking and Security 60 questions, 90 mins, 68% passing score.
For current HP-UX CSE's wishing to upgrade their qualifications to the latest HP-UX OS, HP requires the passing of one exam:
HP0-A03 - HP-UX 11 to 11i v3 Differences Exam 66 questions, 90 mins, 70% passing score.
Candidates for the Differences Exam must already be HP-UX CSE qualified from a previous version.
All of the CSE exams can be taken through your nearest Prometric testing centre, but to schedule an exam you first need to apply for an HP student ID (click here for more info). This you should already have if you have completed the required CSA certification track.
