Live Event (Free), May 19-21 – A Developer’s Guide to Windows 10

You’re invited to a free in-depth look at the Universal Windows Platform which will show you how Windows capabilities and social integration can help create amazing experiences on devices running Windows 10, including phones, tablets, PCs, and (coming soon) Xbox. This is a three day, demo heavy showcase of Windows 10 possibilities where you can explore cool new Windows 10 features and get practical guidance. Each individual session lasts about 30 minutes so you can pick and choose the topics that interest you most.

On Day 1, “App Basics,” take a look at fundamental platform considerations, patterns, and tools available for building successful Windows apps. On Day 2, “Windows Essentials,” survey several core scenarios that apps handle, including low memory, background task execution, cross-device communication, file and data management, and user interaction techniques. And, on Day 3, “Extended Features,” will demonstrate how to light up your apps to create loyalty and buzz.

Microsoft recommend that attendees are already familiar with Microsoft development languages (like C#), but newbies to programming/development should also find the content valuable.
