Word Processing
The ECDL Module 3 exam requires that candidates can demonstrate a proficiency in the use of a typical word processing application such as Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect for example (the candidate can choose, but make sure that your local testing centre can accommodate your choice). Most of the everyday tasks normally carried out on word processors will be tested, including the use of tables, images and the use of mail merge. Typical creation of text, text manipulation and text formatting form the back bone of this exam, and the candidate should feel comfortable moving around the various menus and toolbars of the particular word processing application they choose.
To pass the ECDL Module 3 exam, a candidate must score at least 24 marks
from a possible 32 (75%).
