I need an exam voucher?
No.
But you’d be pretty silly not to get one as they will save
you, or your boss, money. It’s that simple. Why pay full price
when you don’t have to, even if it’s your company that’s
paying? If you don’t want to use a voucher then you just make
your exam booking in the usual way and pay full price. If you do
want to use a voucher you make your booking in the usual way and

Generally speaking vouchers are available for candidates both within the U.S. and internationally, but the range of exams that you can purchase an exam voucher for if you reside outside of the U.S. is much more limited (with the notable lack of Microsoft vouchers available for those outside the U.S. (if anyone has any information about discount exam vouchers that are available outside of the U.S. I’d appreciate hearing from you…) [top]
How much money will an exam voucher save me? How
much of a discount you get from the vendor really depends on where
you buy the vouchers. If you purchase an exam voucher from a company
with a high turn over of vouchers then you may benefit from their
ability to bulk-buy the vouchers in the first place. On the other
hand, vouchers that are nearing their expiry date are sometimes
sold off very cheaply in an effort by the seller to see some return
on their investment before the voucher becomes worthless.
