Upgrading to / from MCSE

Microsoft offer a number of 'short cuts' that holders of various Microsoft certifications can use to either update to an MCSE or, in turn, update their existing MCSE certification to one of the new generation certifications.

At the time of writing, the following upgrade paths are available:

• Upgrade to MCTS / MCITP on Windows Server 2008 from MCSE on Windows Server 2003


• Upgrade to MCSE on Windows Server 2003 from MCSE on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0


• Upgrade to MCSE on Windows Server 2003 from MCSA on Windows Server 2003
