MCITP - Business Intelligence Developer

The MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer is designed to demonstrate the abilities of business intelligence system designers and developers. To earn this credential you should be able to design and implement multi-dimensional database models, data marts, data warehousing, data transforms, data analytics, and reporting solutions.





At present the MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer exams have not been released (they are expected out late 2006), but the path to earning the certification will be as follows:

To earn the MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer a candidate must first pass the MCTS: SQL Server 2005 track which comprises one exam:

The candidate must then pass two further exams to earn the MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer credential. They are:

After completing all three exams the candidate is awarded the MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer certification. The credential is valid as long as the technology it relates to remains valid.

Candidates who wish to make a start on this credential can take the MCTS: SQL Server 2005 exam while waiting for the release of the Professional level exams late in 2006.
