MCPD - Windows Developer

As an MCPD Windows certified developer you will have the skills and knowledge to be able to build client applications that target the Windows Forms platform using the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.





To become a MCPD Windows Developer you must first pass the MCTS Windows Applications certification which consists of two exams:

• 70-536: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 - Application Development Foundation
• 70-526: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 - Windows-Based Client Development

And then complete one additional exam:

• 70-548: Designing and Developing Windows-Based Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework

Alternatively, you can upgrade from the older MCAD certification by taking just one exam (there is no need to obtain the MCTS credential first):

• 70-552: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Windows Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
