Finding free information - Newsgroups

Newsgroups

Newsgroups are probably one of the best resources for getting a feel for any particular exam, and from time to time you’ll come across some good resources posted there. I generally tend to use newsgroups however as a source of potential questions that I’m likely to face on any particular exam. Many people, in their elation at passing or depression at failing, tend to post a bit too much information at times about their exam experiences and the type of questions they encountered. I generally keep a notepad page open while scanning the posts daily and just copy in any comments or thoughts from people that I think might come in useful for arranging my study regime. Sometimes the best bit of information that you can get seems like an innocuous statement from a stranger at the time, but grows in significance as your exam date draws closer. Pick out three or four well-populated newsgroups for your exam and make sure you scan them at least once every few days, even if you have months to go before your exam – and keep that text editor open and handy.

Well, I hope that there have been some suggestions here which will help you to pass your exams more easily. I've found that spending a few days just concentrating on locating information about the exam I'm due to do next results in more than enough information to help me pass the exam. I hope the same is true for you....

Good luck,
